The result of Microidea include a micro-credential system linked to ISO/IEC 17024, a methodology to balance between National and International certification system. The development of a micro-credential system that would be linked to ISO/IEC 17024. A holistic methodology in order to define , assess, validate and recognize a person’s skills and competences, regarding micro-credentials and their integration/balance into the existing qualification systems.

The ISO/IEC 17024 methodology as a regulatory framework for micro-credentials based on certain quality standards ensures their transparency, signaling value and generating trust. On the other hand, the “Inter European credential recognition methodology” will give an answer how to balance between National certification systems and the international validation/ certification systems – the ISO/IEC 17024.

The design and implementation of an online tool to underpin the skills needs analysis in the regions regarding occupations of the Tourism sector by analyzing online job postings and its expansion for the analysis of different sectors’ needs (more detailed than CEDEFOP’s skills OVATE tool) with open access to all.
